The Wrong Amazon is Burning

When Amazon announces plans to build a new headquarters in Berlin’s Friedrichshain, a small group of local activists decides to push back. The Wrong Amazon is Burning follows them from the inside through community meetings, street protests, direct actions, and the quieter moments where conviction gets tested and friendships get strained.

The film is less about winning or losing than about what it looks like when ordinary people take on something much larger than themselves: what drives them, what divides them, and what it means to organize in a city that has been fighting displacement in one form or another for decades.
